An overriding purpose of NYSA services is to provide social support to vulnerable, ‘at risk’ youth for the challenges they face on a day to day basis. Every program service offered is free and incorporates an effective element of basic life skills, practical employment readiness training and health education features that assist in equipping youth to participate and be fully included in the life of community. -One Stop Drop-In Centre operated by a team of youth workers who make referrals as needed. more info

"NUKO is a learning centre that supports children and youth who face neuro-developmental challenges such as autism, FASD, ADHD, OCD, Downs Syndrome and others. Our 3:1 child to staff ratio allows a tailored approach to academic and social learning. NUKO progamming includes: academics, computer skills, therapeutic horseback riding, indoor gym activities, swimming, crafts and art, music programs, behavioural intervention and more. NUKO's Early Intervention Program supports children under 6 years of age on the Autism Spectrum through skills development, recreational activities and intervention using Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) to develop an individualized program for each child. NUKO also runs a Summer Day Camp that offers unique experiences for chidlren and youth with neuro-developmental disabilities. Fees for the full-time day program are $500/month and can be covered through Autism Funding." more info
